Prayer Request: Warren Family

Tears flowed freely earlier today when I learned that the Lord called home one of his saints serving in Afghanistan.  Lance Warren was a beloved husband and father who loved Jesus Christ.  I will miss his warm smile and gentle spirit.  My family and I are praying for Susan, their children, and their families.  I give praise that my brother in the faith is now in the presence of our Savior!  You will be missed Lance...

I'm glad my online friend - Susan - has a good support system. From her facebook page, which is covered with well-wishes, to this blog, which I just stumbled upon, I have a sense that she and her children are in the arms of a loving community.

I was crushed when I heard the news about her husband. She and her young ones have been in my mind constantly ever since.

The Warren family indeed does have a strong faith community who wrap their love around them. They are precious to so many of us!

I just knew that my dear friend has died, and it's so hard to believe, i knew him in Iraq and he was the greatest person I've ever seen. Am still in shock i can't believe that he is dead. I feel so bad for his family... God rest his soul in peace, I will miss you Lance!!!!

Recently, I began attending a new church. Susan and her children attend the same...what a beautiful family. Of course, I never met Lance...but I can imagine how proud he was of his wife and little ones. As they still are of him....

Danita,

Lance made an impact on everyone he met! I remember him being home and having prayer together right in the gym at Macland in the middle of Upward basketball. Susan has been the epitome of strength since the Lord called Lance home and she continues to receive much love and support from so many who knew/knows them.
